4-5 pounds potatoes
1/2 stick of butter, melted
salt and pepper to sprinkle
Scrub and peel potatoes. Slice into thin (1/4-1/2 in think) circles. Spray bottom of cast iron skillet with non stick spray or use extra melted butter to coat. Place a single layer of potato slices in bottom of pan. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Repeat the layering process until all potatoes are used. Place on top of stove on medium heat. Heat just until potatoes begin to sizzle. Place in oven preheated to 450*. Bake for 45 minutes to one hour. Very simple and easy, yet tasty.
From the title, I guess you can see that Mark likes these. Samuel and Nathaniel will eat any form of potatoes. These are even Benjamin approved. If you like fries, you should like these.
