Nathaniel’s Favorite Pork Chops
This is a really simple recipe. Very little prep time. Just a few ingredients. These are so good that Nathaniel can two, on a day when he has not eaten much else due to a stomach virus!!!
- 2lbs center cut pork chops
- 1 small onion
- 2-3 medium apples
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
Chop apples and slice onions. Trim the fat from the chops. Sprinkle pork chops with ground ginger. Saute over medium heat with apples and onions on top, 25 minutes or until done. That is it. Nothing else. Simple, simple, simple but oh so good. Mark and Samuel love these. Nathaniel will several for supper, then more the next day for lunch. Benjamin is not crazy about them, but he will eat them. He does not have to be coaxed as much with these as with some meat, but he won’t just eat it on his own.
